I was asked the other day what I would do if I had an extra hour each day… 25 hours in a day. 7 extra hours a week, an extra day per month. That's an interesting question. It would be nice to think that I would read, create, spend time with friends and family, volunteer… but in all honesty - I don't think that would happen. I think that if we actually had 25 hours in a day, it would be no different than today. We would fill it with some busyness that we probably don't enjoy - probably work.
If I were to answer the question honestly, and do whatever I pleased in the extra hour, I would say I would try and build some sort of web application.
But, I think there are a lot of hypothetical questions we could ask. When I first heard that question, my initial thought was - what if we had one less hour each day? What would we give up? Or what if you only had 3 months to live? How would you live?
However, I think the right question to ask is - what if you had 24 hours in a day and one lifetime to do anything. What would you do?
