So, first, here's a map of how I use the web…
And here's a further break down of how I use the web…
Social Netwoorking
I use Facebook and am friend with just about anyone I've met in real life. I've been on Facebook since October 2005. I post all kinds of things on Facebook - what I'm doing, song lyrics in my head, photos, my Foursquare check-in, my favorite songs from Grooveshark, articles I find interesting.

Twitter is where I post random things about technology, the web, etc. Most of the people I follow and interact with I've not met in real life - but we share some common interest. I don't use Twitter as much… I've always wanted to, but I don't think - even after several years - I still have the hang of it.
I also have a secondary Twitter account that I used for Team Best.

Seesmic I've found Seesmic Desktop to be my favorite tool for facebooking and twittering. It gives you a nice overview of everything that's happening in social networking.

Layers.com
I have also been using Layers.com inside of Google Chrome for facebooking and twittering as well… it's a totally different way to look at it - more focus on one by one posts instead of an overview.

Mobile
On my mobile, I normally use Facebook mobile and text messaging / emailing to update Facebook. For Twitter I use MoTweets.

Thoughts
Evernote is something I've tried in the past and couldn't really find any use for it - but lately I've been using it quite a bit. Basically as a brain dump. The two things I've found it does really well, are 1) clipping reservation confirmation pages and the like and 2) clipping articles that I want to read later. But I'm also experimenting with using it for other things… I think it has a lot of possibility.

Photos
For all family photos I use picasa. I use Picasa3 on my laptop, which saves the photos to my harddrive - and then I also upload everything to PicasaWeb.

Flickr
I use Flickr for photos on blogs - it seems to integrate nicely with blogs. So, I have 2 accounts - one for JoshuaBest.net and one for TeamBestBros.com.

All family videos are on Vimeo. They are also backed up on my laptop hard drive.

Music
I'm a fan of grooveshark and it is my primary source for music. I listen to a lot of music on grooveshark. When I add songs to my favorites list in Grooveshark it feeds over to my Facebook feed. Grooveshark also feeds last.fm with what I'm currently listening to and last.fm feeds my blog at JoshuaBest.net with that info. I'm looking forward to having a better phone where I can use Grooveshark mobile.

Bookmarks
I use Delicious to store links I find interesting. Mainly so they will integrate with my JoshuaBest.net blog.

I signed up for Foursquare a while ago, but I'm starting to actually use it now.

Personal
E-mail. I have 2 different e-mail addresses and use them interchangeably right now - jrbest84@gmail.com and josh@joshuabest.net. I send and receive both out of my one Gmail account.

Google Calendar
We use this as our family calendar. Google Calendar is integrated with both my wife and I's phones - so, if my wife adds a doctors appointment to her phone it flows through Google Calendar and then into my phone, so I also see it on my phone. This has worked pretty slick - and we should really take more advantage of it by adding more things to these calendars.

Google Tasks I use this as my immediate to do list. I like to use the iGadgets view as a stand-alone app. If I want to mow the lawn this weekend, I put it on my To Do list here. If I need to pay a bill this week or make a phone call - I put it on here.
